Employer Spotlight

Seesaw Beans and Coffee Cafe

Our partner for our barista program.

Our relationship with this cafe runs deep. We started together — originally under the same nonprofit — and every participant from our very first barista program was hired and went to work there. Since then, the cafe has grown into its own for-profit business, and while we are now two separate entities, the partnership has only gotten stronger.

Today, they collaborate closely with us to train participants in our barista program, offering hands-on experience in a real working cafe. Employment is not guaranteed, but for many of our participants, it has been a meaningful and life-changing first step.
