Seesaw Communities

Empowering ability. Creating belonging.

We support young adults with developmental disabilities through inclusive programs that build independence, confidence, and real-world skills.

Our mission

Why we do what we do

  • Access

Support for young adults should feel easier to find, easier to trust, and easier to act on.

  • Belonging

Going beyond physical presence to create spaces where true belonging can flourish.

  • Growth

Seesaw supports long-term learning, confidence, and practical pathways into real independence and work.

When high school ends for a young adult with a developmental disability, support often disappears overnight. We started Seesaw Communities to make sure that never has to mean the end of the road.

Stories from our community

When young adults with disabilities get the right support, remarkable things happen.

Two Seesaw baristas smiling and making a heart shape with their hands.
“I didn't think a real job was something I could do. Now I work at a cafe two days a week. I feel like I belong somewhere.”
